Click for more detail... I retired from Pacific Bell in 1996 at age 53. KF6LMR is my YL of 39 years. We have three wonderful granddaughters living just up the street. Their dad recently got his ham ticket (KJ6ATL). Congratulations, Chris! I'm really proud and pleased. I am a member of LAFD-ACS (Auxiliary Communications Service - City of Los
Angeles Fire Department, Battalion 2), the Pasadena Radio Club, the Glendale Emergency
Auxiliary Radio Service (GEARS), the Kaiser Permanente Amateur Radio Network
(KPARN) and ARES-LAX. I am the Angeles Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run Amateur Radio
Coordinator, along with KE6ONT. Unfortunately, the race was cancelled this year due to fires. Other activities I have recently enjoyed are the Leona Divide 50 Miler, the Mt Disappointment 50K/50 mile Race, the Los Angeles Marathon, Cruise Night in Glendale, the Baker to Vegas Challenge Race and the Desert Storm Rally near Blythe, CA. Let's not forget ARRL Field Day with the Pasadena Radio Club and editing the club's newsletter, The PRC Bulletin, and acting as an ARRL VE (Volunteer Examiner). Maybe I fogot how to say "No"? 73 All, de John, AC6VV
