QRV with own licence since 1988 (old call Y44TL, since 1990 DG2DRA) rig: IC-718, TM-V7E, FT-817, FT-897, IC-T81E ant: X-5000, hf trap dipole for 160/80/40m 2x25m long and 10m over ground, dish 23cm/13cm, MALDOL HFC-40L and HFC-20L hf mobile antennas (on top of my car). I'm also an active member of sysop-crew of ATV repeater DB0MWB (Loc JO71FD)

11/02/2000: I'm getting a 6m-license, so I'm now QRV on 50 MHz from my QTH Obergurig, JO71FD

06/03/2000: my new HB9CV for 6m is mounted, so I can hopefully better work DX on 50 MHz :)

08/03/2000: I'm now QRV on 23cm with my new Handheld-Transeiver ICOM IC-T81E (only FM, 1 watts output)

20/08/2001: sorry, HDD crash on my hamradio computer, all QSO data lost before july 2001 ! no backup :( Incoming QSL are answered "as is"...

15/08/2003: german vhf license class 2 can now work on the hf band with same conditions like fully license class 1, telegraphy is no more required in the future (but I can CW hi). So I'm also qrv now between 1,8 mhz to 30 mhz in ssb/cw and digital modes.

26/09/2003: my brand-new ICOM tranceiver IC-718 works great and my home-brew dipol antenna works also good on hf band. I'm now qrv on hf/vhf/shf including 6m at my home qth in JO71FD.

29/11/2003: i'm upgrading my ICOM IC-718 now with a 500 hz cw-filter, so I can work better in telegraphy, fine thing...

31/12/2003: I'm building on my own a simple endloaded wire antenna 28m long and 10m over ground, it works great on the lower bands 80m..30m, also 160m I can work with a little bit of compromises...

01/03/2004: I'm changing my membership from local club S25(Bautzen-Land) to S04(Loebau) of German Amateur Radio Club (the letter S means the district of saxony in German Amateur Radio Club DARC)

16/03/2004: I'm building a new antenna. Now QRV with a 2x 34m dipole, it works great on lower hf bands like 160m/80m/40m.

12/04/2004: changing my antenna from the 2x34m dipol to a trapped dipol for 160m/80m/40m. This antenna works better on 40m, now let's see what I can work....

03/07/2004: I'm getting my brand-new transeiver FT-897 for use as portable station, because my old IC-706MKII is bad for using it on hf-band on a "big antenna" (the RX isn't really good). So I have changing it...

23/09/2004: I'm modifying and extending my 160-80-40m homebrew trap dipole. Now the antenna works from 160m up to 17m as a trap dipol.

10/10/2004: I'm testing my brand-new Kenwood TS-480SAT, fb RX, works great...
