Was first licensed as WV2HLN in Oradell, NJ in 1959. Received WA4BKD in 1972 and K4BKD when the vanity program started.

I enjoy working 40,30,and 20 CW including QRP but do enjoy SSB as well (don't tell anyone!). Antennas are full wave loops for40,30,20 and a G5RV. Also enjoy mobile CW with my IC-706 and ham sticks

I am employed by the Georgia Department of Insurance in Atlanta.

Have been married 40 years with two daughters and one grand daughter.
