Originally licensed as a Technician before no-code, in January 1989. I have never changed my call sign. A year or so after I got my license, my wife, Susan (N7OVG) received her license. I upgraded to Advanced within a year, then to Extra in 2001. 3 of my 4 children also are licensed. Amanda (KD7DEK) was first, then Stephanie (KD7ZKS), and Matthew (KE7AIV) who was most excited about passing the test. Sharen is still studying for hers. I work for Beehive Telephone Company (www.beehive.net) and WirelessBeehive.com (www.wirelessbeehive.com), as the computer guy. I take care of the computers and the network, as well as anything else they throw my way. As a family we enjoy camping, hamming, Dutch Oven cooking (and eating). I am a Scoutmaster, my wife is a Den Leader, our son is now a Boy Scout, working on advancing. His goal is to become an Eagle Scout. I am also a private pilot, and fly a 1967 Mooney M20C and a 1981 Cessna T210.
