Click for more detail... Update: I'm now a Full-Time RVer.. Hi.. I've been living in the High Mojave Desert for more than 30 years and believe me, a hobby like Ham Radio comes in real handy. I grew up listening to "CQ CQ CQ DX" because my Dad, K6SHA has been an Amateur Radio Operator since 1937. I didn't get involved with the hobby until I decided to settle down. I was first licensed in the 70's but I didn't start chasing DX until the early 90's. My past callsigns include WD6EIL, N4OXH, KM6HG and VK7HG. Over the years I've talked with Thousands of other Hams, and received QSL cards from more than 330 Different countries. I've earned the DXCC Honor Roll Award and the CQDX Honor Roll Award. I also have awards for WAZ, IOTA, WPX and WAC. Ham Radio is really a great hobby! I've made friends all over the world and I've even been lucky enough to visit a few. Maybe someday I can hit the lotto and visit the rest. 73 - John, K7HG Rev: K7HG - Fri Feb 19 7:27:08 1999 Last modified: Fri Dec 5 17:32:55 2008 Does this page contain inappropriate content?
