"TANABATA" IS A TRADITIONAL STAR FESTIVAL IN SENDAI,WE DECORATE GREEN BAMBOO TREES WITH STRIPS OF PAPER WRITTEN OUR WISHES AND SEND THE WISHES TO THE SKIES FILLED WITH COUNTLESS STARS.IN SUCH AN EVENING, IT IS THE VENUS THAT FIRST STARTS TO SHINE. BY THE KINDNESS OF SENDAI ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATORY, WE WERE ABLE TO PRINT THE VENUS AND THE MOON TAKEN BY Dr.Koishikawa IN OUR QSL
