QSL nfo: direct, eQSL, or LoTW
ARRL Life member. NAQCC Life member #5519. International DX Association member. I enjoy exchanging hardcopy QSL cards which are ultimately my preference. They can be directed to my home/license address above. I utilize eQSL quite regularly. I use eQSL morso than hardcopy QSLs due to what I have found to be a decrease in the motivation of many to exchange direct QSL cards and the agonizing wait many times involved in using 'buros'or 3rd party managers. I update LoTW usually on a monthly basis. When mobileering, I operate a Yaesu 857D radio tuned to 90 watts and (normally) a High Sierra 1500 screwdriver antenna mounted to a custom built receiver hitch mount. When pulling a trailer or otherwise using my hitch, I mobileer with an OutBacker Perth mounted on my hood. My base rig is also an 857D tuned thru an MFJ-94D tuner, as needed, to a G5RV . It is about 10 meters at the center, strung in an east/west direction. Power is barefoot at 100 watts. I am a born again Christian of the Weslyan holiness persuasion and recently ran across the Amateur Radio Missionary Service (ARMS), a Christian HF net. They run several nets a week. I try to monitor even if not able to check-in. I urge any other Christian ham operators to check it out. Their website is www.qsl.net/arms. I can usually be found on 20M followed by 40M in preference but freely move about the bands from 160M to 10M (mobileering) or 15M, 20M, 40M, or 80M when at home. I monitor the local 2 meter repeater occasionally, also.
