Licensed since 1969 under a variety of callsigns (N5HZD being the last), Rod Mollise is an engineer by profession, but also finds time to teach evening physics labs at the University of South Alabama. He is the author of several books on amateur astronomy including Choosing and Using a Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope. Rod's ham radio interests have varied over the years--he's now a big Echolink fan--but he continues to come back to his first interest, HF CW.
