First licensed as novice in 1978, upgraded to general in 1981, advanced in 1987 and extra in Mar 2006.

Main rig a Kenwood TS-2000. My Yaesu FT-840 will be used for portable/field day operation.

June 2007 got my 4 element beam and 50ft tower up, what a difference it makes on the high bands.

Main interest is cw. I hook up the mic during contests, the rest of the time the mic is stored in a cabinet.

I prefer the paper qsl cards, and return on all I receive usually within 24 hours. I will confirm on eQSL upon request (if I've sent a paper qsl and no response I WILL NOT eQSL).

To all my cw friends out there, if you are a member of Fists club I will qsl through the Fists qsl bureau unless you are on the NO SASE/NO QSL list.
