Hello and welcome to my QRZ page. My name is Steve Leavitt and I was born in Cleavland Ohio on Oct 31, 1983. I was a military child and quickly moved from there to Germany for a short period of time and then later to Clarksville, TN. Unfortunately at the age of 23 I had my first heart attack and had to start looking for hobbies and other intests that would normally fill my day. Also at the same times things started to get very bad and I had to move up to Kalispell, MT to be closer to family. So, with an idea of what I liked to do and a little researching plus some help from a good frind of my KA5UMD Jewels in Texas I decided to go for my license in 2009.

I am currently active in HF Phone/Digital/CW and UHF using IRLP. I can often times be heard as of late on the Alaska Morning Net, Handshakers Net, and World Wide Friendship Net. I enjoy EMCOMM and intergrating my other hobby computer programming with this wonderful new hobby. So, if you ever hear me on the air, feel more than welcome to send a call out my way.
