Bachelor of Science, University of Miami 1964, Doctor of Medicine, Emory University 1968. Upgraded to Advanced Class in 1969. U.S. Army 1970-1975; stationed in San Juan, Puerto Rico and operated as KP4DLW. Upgraded to Extra Class in 1972. Honorable discharge as Major in 1975. Took callsign AF4M in 1979. Practice of emergency medicine in Alabama 1975-1982, and Florida 1982-1990. Medical Director of Community Health Service, Jackson Memorial Medical Center, and Voluntary Associate Professor of Family Medicine, University of Miami School of Medicine, until retirement in 2005.
