Greetings fellow Hams. I am 50, married, no children unless you count my two Chow dogs. I enjoy the 75 meter phone band (3.768 Mhz) GERATOL W.A.S. Net at 01:00z-05:00z that runs every night from Oct 1st - Apr 30th each year. I have GERATOL #2164, Director #266, and NET 500 #85. I was a GERATOL Net Controller in 1999. Ham equipment is: Kenwood TS-870s, Ameritron 572 (1300 Watts Amp), HTX 220 2 Meter Hand-held Transceiver, Inverted V up 36 feet, Cushcraft R5 Vertical, Gap Titan VIII Vertical, 10 Element 2 Meter Yagi, along with a straight keyer and iambic keyer. Besides ham radio I like: Paleontology (especially vertebrates), Billiards, Chess, Tennis, Table Tennis, Golf, Guitar, Toy Collecting, and Biblical Greek/studies. Brief history: I was a Morse Systems Operator for the Air Force and Department of Defense from 1971-82. Afterwards, I transitioned over to Satellite Communications with Bendix/Allied Aerospace Engineering until 1985. I received my Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Lousville, KY in 1989. From 1990-93, I worked as a Radio Repairer/Systems Programmer Analyst for the Army Reserves, during which I also worked for Microsoft in Charlotte, NC as a Senior Operating Systems Support Engineer. I currently work for Bank of America in Charlotte, NC as a Vice President, Systems Engineer, and Quality Assurance Software Tester. I've lived in Japan, England, Germany, and all over U.S.A.
