Since 2009 marks the 50th anniversary of Alaska Statehood I decided to design a new QSL card for all contacts made this year. If you’ve had contacts with AL9A in prior years, I will send out my earlier QSL card to confirm those QSO’s. You may QSL direct via the QRZ address, the Bureau, LOTW or eQSL. · For those choosing to QSL direct an SASE for US addresses is appreciated. Remember, Alaska is a US State with zip codes so one unit of first class postage is all that is necessary. · DX stations wishing direct QSL should include US $1 or (1) new IRC and a self addressed envelope. · QSL’s via the Bureau will be answered via the Bureau. · I have recently gotten set up in LOTW and can now provide LOTW confirmations for those seeking the ARRL Triple Play award. I mostly operate SSB and CW, but can also operate PSK 31 and hope to be on RTTY in the not too distant future. Look for me in most major contests – ARRL Sweepstakes, ARRL International DX, ARRL 160 Meter, CQWW, CQ WPX, CQ 160 Meter, NAQP, NA Sprints and on the OMISS and 3905 Country Club nets. If you need Alaska to complete your WAS or other awards contact me via email about setting up a schedule. I make no promises about the propagation, but if possible will try to find a mutually agreeable time. 73 es good DX!
