EG5FUV special callsign from 18 to 24 August, 2008

22, 23 and 24 August, 2008 the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe will take place for the first time in Valencia (Spain). In order to celebrate this event, EG5FUV special callsign will be on the air the entire week from 18 to 24 August in HF amateur bands (80 to 6 meters, phone and digimodes). Also a special commemorative folded full-colour QSL card will be sent via bureau to all amateurs contacting EG5FUV.

Los próximos 22, 23 y 24 de agosto de 2008 el Gran Premio de Fórmula 1 de Europa tendrá lugar por primera vez en Valencia (España). Para celebrar tal evento, el indicativo especial de llamada EG5FUV (Fórmula Uno Valencia) estará en el aire toda la semana desde el 18 al 24 de agosto de 2008 en las bandas de radioaficionado de HF (fonía y modos digitales). Una tarjeta QSL conmemorativa doble a color se enviará a todos los radioaficionados que contacten con la EG5FUV vía buró.
