My QSL Manager is W4JS - please send SASE, IRC or green stamps. NOTE: Sorry, I cannot accept or reply to cards sent to the station QTH in Volcan, Panama - NO bureau cards please! They may be delayed for one year, or never arrive! I do not use Lotw nor E-qsl, so a paper card to the manager is your way to receive confirmation, if wanted. STATION: I'm located at 4,757 feet above sea level (1,450 meters), 30 miles (50 km) from the Pacific (clear view) and 41 miles (66 km) from the Caribbean (mountain range). My station is either a Kenwood 590S or Icom 756 Pro 3, Drake L4B amplifier, and 3 element SteppIR (20 - 6 meters) at 65 feet. I also have a new 3 element phased delta loop array on 75 meters. I use an inverted V on 40 & 160 meters. I only operate SSB at this time and I am unable to make or keep schedules. I previously used an Alpha 87A amp. The amplifier was struck by lightning in May of 2011. I have been unable to get parts from Alpha to fix the 87A. At the insistence of the factory, the amplifier would have to be shipped all the way back to Colorado, U.S.A. for simple repairs. Buy or trade for a new Alpha 9500 ??? See the site at www.alpha9500.com for answers to that question. ----- Previous operations during 2007 and until January 16, 2008 were from HP3/K1YJ. * W4JS is the QSL manager for all of these operations as well. Cards for K1YJ operations from Nashville, TN U.S.A. before 2008 go to the QRZ address and will take up to 9 months or more for a reply.
