l' A.R.Fo.P.I., con sede in Roma,  è un associazione di Radioamatori che nasce nel 1979 ed a cui fanno parte principalmente gli appartenenti a  tutte le forze di Polizia Italiane  Tra gli associati si contano anche molti  simpatizzanti, non  necessariamente appartenenti alle  forze dell' ordine.-

L' A.R.Fo.P.I. conta altre sezioni  in varie città d' Italia.

Tra le attività principali, l' associazione, annualmente  indice il diploma denominato "Maratona ARFOPI"  ma si svolgono anche altre attività come radioassistenze in occasione di eventi sportivi o di  ricorrenze storiche,  attivazioni  per i diplomi dei castelli italiani e dei laghi (D.C.I. e D.L.I.) ecc.

the A.R.Fo.P.I., headquartered in Rome, it is an association of Ham Radio that is born in 1979 and to which mainly do part the belonging ones to all the Italian strengths of Police among the associates many sympathizers they are counted, also not necessarily belonging to the strengths of the order. - 
 
L' A.R.Fo.P.I. it counts other sections in the various cities of  Italy.
