I've been licensed since July of 2005 after getting interested in the hobby by some family friends. I've become very active in the community service aspect of the hobby, helping out with events in Omaha, Lincoln, and parts of Iowa. I've also been known to go out during SKYWARN operations and help out with OMMRS activations and drills.

In December of 2008, I was elected president of the Ak-Sar-Ben Amateur Radio Club in Omaha, NE. I'm honored to serve the club in this capacity after serving as the Field Day Chairperson for a few years.

I don't spend as much time on the radio as I'd like due to other things going on, but I do try to keep a radio on 146.94 in the Omaha area when I'm mobile.

I'm a college student, majoring in Management Information Systems with an IT Audit & Control major. As of this up date, I have 3 semesters left until I can get my degree and they let me out!
