Click for more detail... Got my Tech ticket in February 2000, upgraded to General a few months later. Got my Extra ticket at a VE session on March 16, 2002 (officially in the FCC database on March 26, 2002). I've started doing a little DX chasing and have received DXCC for mixed and phone, as well as single band on a few bands. In addition to "conventional" QSL cards, I'm a big fan of the ARRL's Logbook of The World. I also use the eQSL service. I've also made my log available to search at http://www.k2dbk.com if you're interested (though it's not always up to date). I always respond to any QSL cards I receive in the same way that they are received (direct or via the bureau). I'm writing a ham radio blog at http://k2dbk.blogspot.com about ham radio stuff that I find interesting and possibly useful. You can also find me on Twitter as k2dbk. On the local front, I recently retired as Deputy Skywarn coordinator for Bergen County, NJ (see our website at http://bergenskywarn.org) and I am a life member of the Ramsey Office of Emergency Management. I'm also a member of the 10-70 Repeater Association Other operations: IOTA NA-034: Operated April 4 & 5 2004 and January 14, 2006. QSL direct, via the bureau or via Logbook of the World. FM-26: Operated from the Outer Banks of North Carolina during July 2005 on 6m. QSL direct, via the bureau or via Logbook of the World. Details of that operation are written up on my blog. Cayman Islands: I operated as ZF2DK in July 2007. Please see my qrz.com listing under that callsign for more info.
