Greetings from beautiful Cream Ridge, New Jersey. Formerly I was WN8KQX,
WA8KQX, WB4MGW, WA2NCP and KT2Q. This part of New Jersey is farm and horse
country. My XYL is KC2PRW although she isn't an active ham she supports my
interest in the hobby and understands such things as do not bother OM during a
contest weekend, and the importance of towers and wires in the trees. In fact
she is good at shooting arrows over branches to launch antenna wires. Regarding
interest in the hobby I am most at home in my shop where I've been doing a lot
of work and learning a lot building an 8877 amplifier for the HF bands. Also
built up a little SDR receiver recently. I like old junk as much as new stuff
and recently got a DX-60 and VFO on the air with my Drake 2B - shades of 1962!!
I am a huge fan of the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame as well as my alma mater,
the West Virginia University Mountaineers. 73, Rick K2XT
