I have been a ham since 1992. My former callsigns were KD4KBU, KQ4DM, and KE3ID. My main hobby is astronomy, and I volunteer my time as NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador. In addition, I currently write a monthly astronomy column for The Free Lance-Star newspaper.

My other hobbies include photography, running, weightlifting, and listening to heavy metal/rock music.

In June 2006 at age 41, I earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and graduated summa cum laude. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in management which I hope to complete by the end of 2009. Better late in life than never....
