MAURY BALIK K4MB

First licensed as WN3EQW in 1965. Have held callsigns WA3RAY and KM4BQ. ARRL WAS Award. Active on HF SSB, PSK31, RTTY and 40M QRP CW.

Can be heard around 3.606 or 7.130 MHz LSB at 7 pm eastern time on Sundays. Also occasionally check into the Swan Users Net at 2100 UTC Sundays on 14.252 MHz.

EQUIPMENT:

Kenwood TS-530S (100W) with remote VFO-240, AT-230 antenna tuner and SP-230.

Kenwood TS-440S (100W) with AT-250 autotuner and SP-430.

Swan 400 (200W) with 410 VFO and homebrew digital VFO.

Homebrew 40M QRP transceiver (1.5W)- W7EL design.

Kenwood TL-922 linear amplifier (1500W).

MFJ 962B 1.5 KW antenna tuner

ANTENNA:

281' vertically oriented loop, right triangle shape. 110' horizontal, 50' vertical, 121' diagonal.

Top wire is 70' high. Fed with 300-ohm window line on the diagonal leg.
