My name is Bill. I live in Midway , near Gulf Breeze in NW Florida within sight of the Gulf of Mexico. I lived in Fort Walton Beach Fl. which is 24 miles due east most of my live. Formerly I was N4BUM (EXTRA) but I let my license lapse in 1996 and did not renew it within the grace period. Recently, in Nov. 2007 I retested. I became AJ4DE. Now I'm K4MH (vanity call). I look forward to getting back into Amateur Radio. It has been a long time and there are many changes. Its a 'brave new world' of Amateur Radio. I am renewing my proficiency in CW and have recently purchased a HW8 and have a yen for QRP. I also purchased a Radio Shack 10 meter transceiver and am looking forward an eventual upswing in propagation. Meanwhile I will be looking around for a suitable rig. I had a tower and Wilson Sys 1 with a TS 820 s and worked a lot of DX but times change. The area in which I now have a home does not permit exterior antennas and I will have to adapt and overcome. I'm looking forward to getting back into the hobby and meeting new friends after all this time. Bill
