My first license was obtained in 1977 at the age of 32. My call until August 2005 had been WD9ATJ that I received while living in IL, 30 miles west of Chicago. I then obtained the vanity call, K4ORY after moving to Florida. I had been quite inactive prior to my retirment, but am now able to spend more time on the air. Current interests are the digital modes, but do not preclude HF-SSB and CW. (My CW is very poor though.) I have an Echolink Node #267922. I enjoy operating PSK31 (PODX-070 #481 & EPC#1668.) I don't hunt awards or participate in contests. I have collected many QSL cards over the years and don't have a need to collect more. But, it is always a great pleasure to trade real paper QSL cards. I QSL 100%. Shortwave listners are most welcome. Your QSL options: Direct-no SASE needed; LoTW; and eQSL (AG). My cards are 4" x 6" [101.6 mm X 152.4 mm]. If you send me a SASE, be sure it is large enough for a 4" X 6" card. I've had to fold my card on a few returns.
For those IOTA hunters, my location is NA-069, Sanibel Island, Florida, USA. My other main hobby is genealogy. My genealogy web site isWWW.OryFamilyHistory.Com. No Amateur Radio, just Genealogy.
