I was first licensed as WN1CKF and very soon after WA1CKF in the fall 1964. After a brief stay in the Military Service (66-72) I returned to Florida, requested a change of callsign and recieved WB4PFY. I held that call for nearly 20 years until I upgraded my license to Advanced classin 1988 and then Extra in 2007. I recieved the callsign KK4TR in 1988 and held that callsign untill July of 2007. I received my present callsign K4TR 07/13/2007. My present amateur related activities consist of Low Band operation, primarily 160 and 75 meters, QSLing and collecting operating awards. My favorites bands are 160, 80, 40 and 10 meters. I am also kept busy monitoring the operation of my wire antenna manufactoring business "K4TR ANTENNA MFG & SALES" http://www.k4tr.com . Dxing is my all-time favorite past time, but rag chewing on AM phone comes in a pretty close second mainly because that is what I started out with in 1964. I hold the CQ Dx Award (310 countries), ARRL 1.8 mhz Dxcc(165 countries and31 Zones), CQ WAZ, ARRL WAC 1.8 mhz, ARRL DXCC 310 countries confirmed, ARRL Bicentennial 1776-1976 WAS and I am a memeber of AM International #744. I joined the eQSL.cc electronic QSL service but I am rather disappointed at the return rate to this point. I have also signed up to the ARRL Log Book of The World. This service seems to be a little better. Between the conventional paper QSL routing via the US Postal Service and both of the electronic methods I should be able to get a QSL to anyone who wants one from Florida. 73's Joe
