Contester, #1 DXCC honor roll, and builder. President of Central Oregon DX Club and manager of the 7th Area QSO Party. Started as KN1QBT in October 1960 and upgraded to W8CAG in June 1961 (I had moved to Ohio). After college I went into the Air Force and moved back to MA, passed the Extra and became W1FCC. I was out of the Air Force and working for Ten-Tec in TN when I received K4XU as a vanity call in 1976. After changing calls so many times I have decided to stick with this one, regardless of the location. It makes for an interesting license plate collection after 50 years. When contesting, I'm disguised as N7XU.
I am a RF power MOSFET development and applications engineer after previous RF design experience at Ten-Tec, ETO and Harris Broadcast. I no longer QSL via the bureau. I will QSL 100% with your SASE. All my electronic logs have been loaded to LOTW. If you made a QSO and cannot find it in LOTW, send me an email, I still have old paper logs. N7XU/m: Thanks to everyone for the 809 QSOs in the 2012 7QP. The schedule is still on my web page here. 73, Dick Last modified: 2012-05-22 02:37:54, 1631 bytes fetched
