I was licensed in '59 or '60 as KN5FSE and lived in Dallas Texas. My father worked for an oil company, and we moved to Tripoli, Libya for my last two years of H.S. I was licensed as 5A2TS. This was during 1961-1963.

After graduating from H.S. I returned to Dallas and attneded the Univ. of Texas at Arlington.

I was in the Marine Corps from 1967-1970 and stationed at Cherry Point, N.C. I served as a KC-130 radio operator/loadmaster.

After service I returned to Dallas and graduated with a BBA in 1975. I married Charlotte Bishop in 1975.

Upon graduation, I worked with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts for 5 years, then Sun Oil & Gas (Oryx Energy) until 1994.

In 1994, I joined Home Depot's Tax Department, and moved to Atlanta, Ga.

In 1996 my wife and I bought a home in Cumming, Ga, about 30 miles north of Atlanta.

Besides amateur radio, I enjoy woodworking, fly fishing, and my wife and I raise purebred Birman Cats.
