My name is Greg. In the photo you also see my wife Jennifer, KE7MPA. I also have two beautiful daughters, Alissa and Alexandra (K7ANM). Our home is in Sammamish, in King county Washington. Sammamish is 20 miles (32 km) east of Seattle, near the foothills of the Cascade mountains.
At present, I am the EC/RO for Sammamish (with the Sammamish Plateau Amateur Radio Club - www.sp-arc.org). On HF, I like to work CW, Phone and digital on all bands. I do a little contesting and DX when the bands are right, but there doesn't seem to be enough time to get serious. I have earned my eWAS, WAS, WAC,Triple Play (#229), eDX100 and multiple DXCC awards. I am also active in the ARRL organization (EC, VE, FI, FE, etc.).
My primary HF rig is a loaded-up Elecraft K3/P3, but most of my other equipment is Yaesu (897, 8800, 7800, VX-7R, 1802). I also use a Motorola GTX for mobile 900 MHz and a Kenwood TS-820S. The HF rigs are paired up with an AL-80B and SB-200 amps. For antennas, I have a 40m dipole and a Cobra Sr, as well as a 100' Rohn SSV tower with a Mosley five-bander (TA-33-JR-WARC) and Diamond 2 element 6m. The tower was installed in 2009.
