Riki was first licensed as KN6THN in 1956. From 1957 his US call was K7ADD
which was later changed to K7NJ. He has been licensed as 4X4NJ since 1961 and
often uses 4X3A in contests.
Riki moved to Israel in 1969, and resettled in the USA in 2004.
Main interests in ham radio include: FOC, CW, 160M, DX, Contests, antennas,
propagation, & weak signal reception.
Awards held as 4X4NJ include: Number 1 DXCC Honor Roll, 40 Zone 160M WAZ & 160M
WAS. He has worked over 250 countries on 160M from 4X.
He is an eager contester and holds many first place awards for single band 160M
entries (as 4X4NJ or 4X3A) in the CQWW, CQWPX, CQ160, and Stew Perry Top Band
Challenge DX contests.
He has been a participant in several DXpeditions: 3B6RF, C31CL, HB0XVR.
Riki is an electrical engineer currently employed in developing bi-directional
amplifiers and antennas for cellular phones. He is also an active member of the
Raelian Movement.
