Well most people have been asking me what K7STW as a vanity call has to do with me? I wanted to combine my hunting/shooting hobby with Ham Radio. I have a rifle that is chambered in 7mm STW which I use for Deer/Antelope/Elk hunting. Since STW was available - what the heck. The best phoenitics for it so far is "Shoot The Wabbit". The ham station in the house features an IC-746 HF/VHF tranciever. For antennas I'm using a Comet GP-15 for 6m and 2m. HF I use a Gap Challenger DX 8 verticle antenna. If your visiting the Portland area, I can usually be found on the ARRG repeater 147.04 around rush hour. HF I usually operate PSK31 and have enjoyed that mode for almost two years now.
