This past Armed Forces Day, the Central Arizona DX Association completed a very successful tribute to the late Senior Senator from Arizona, Barry M. Goldwater, K 7 U G A, and his legacy of support to Service men and women, through his many years of involvement with the Military Affiliate Radio System (MARS).

The CADXA will offer a continuation of this AFD by operating on Memorial Day for 12 hours, starting at 1400 UTC, 25 May, until 0200 UTC, 26 May, 2009.  Just as for last weekend's activities, look for K7UGA to be active on CW, SSB and RTTY, favoring the General Class subbands, primarily 80/40/20/15M.    Watch the various DX clusters for spots.
