Current rig in the shack for 20 thru 75mtr is the Henry Tempo One. Tube rigs have character and in MY opinion it gives the hobby LIFE and the radio a soul. (Update: Bought a used FT-890AT months ago and love it as well! Tubes add life but a built in Auto-tuner is priceless when the bands are busy)

I have also been enjoying an MFJ 9420 QRP 20m rig...a LOT of fun talking across this country on 10w! Either rig goes to a homebrew inv. L cut to 1/4 wave on 160m....apex at 24' up the tower.

On 10 meters I'm usually talking on my trusted Clear Channel AR3500 @ 100w. No amplifiers in the shack. This connects to a Shakespere Army BigStick vert. atop a 43ft tower.

Locally I monitor 146.520 FM simplex and 28.390 USB...mobile or shack.

You can QSL Direct and I DO QSL 100%. NO SASE needed! I send as postcards....saves $ and I feel it makes a card a little more authentic with the postmark stamp. If you prefer otherwise please let me know.
