Previous call AD0NW Retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant. Have only been licensed since 2003. I was a radio technician in the Air Force until they took away my screwdrivers and gave me a desk and a clipboard. I did take the Novice tests back in 65, however I was sent to Vietnam before the license arrived and I never did see it. After Vietnam I lost interest until 2003 when I took the code, general and tech tests on one night and the extra three months later. Since that time I've been pretty active and have been awarded WAS, WAZ, DXCC on four bands and three modes. I enjoy QRP and have achieved QRPDXCC as well. So far my best contact on QRP was with VP6TD for 6134 miles per watt. I really enjoy the hobby and hope to continue in it for as long as I can. I love to exchange QSL cards and look forward to exchange cards (no SASE, greenstamps or IRC's necessary.) Last modified: 2011-01-21 21:39:48, 1060 bytes fetched
