I've been a Ham for a little while. Since 1975 but built my first crystal radio as a little kid of age 9 back in 1961. Earned my W.A.S. as a Novice in 1975-1976. Earned my W.A.T. that first night I got on the air. W.A.T. = worked all televisions :(. Got serious about chasing DX in 2006. My DXCC came in the mail as of April 2008! Right now I have 109 mixed. Hurray! Now I want to do a QRP Worked All States. Waiting patiently for Cycle 24 to begin. Come-on come-on come-on! Dang!! Is cycle 24 ever gonna begin?

Home QTH is Yaesu FT-2000, antennas are Force-12 C3SS on a MA-40 Crankup/tiltover 40' tower. 75/80/30 meter wire inverted vee. A MFJ vertical on 40, 20, 15, & 10. 2m/440 vertical by Diamond for local repeaters, etc..  I'm wanting to experiment with an 80m vertical to work winter DX.

Too many Plasma TVs in my neighbothood (and my house) so I operate late at night or early in the mornings. DO NOT PUT A PLASMA TV IN YOUR HOUSE! Or just kiss Ham Radio good bye! And we were so afraid of BPL?!

Camping QTH is Yaesu FT-897D and the Buddipole. I also have a palethera of QRP radios I've built, various wire antennas to launch into trees. No Plasma TVs nearby at the campsites!

I just got the itching to do some RTTY and/or PSK31. Must be all the DX I see on RTTY! So, RYRYRYRYRYRY ya'll.
