My name is Josh Marcin and i'm 12 years old. I passed my general exam on June 23rd and I have three radios. A portable a base and a base. (one vhf and one hf.) I have been interested in radio since february and got a tech liscense on March 24.I go to a place called the dar. its a boys and girls club and has a ham radio room. It has 3 bases ones vhf and 2 hf,and 2 handhelds. My friend and I are the only kids in Menominee,MI school system that has a ham liscense. The dar this year has liscensed or upgraded 3 or 4. And a few are going to try for their liscense.
