An amateur radio license is a license to experiment with communications and communications technology, which is first class entertainment for me. I get on the air occasionally to fool around in this very diverse hobby with digital and analog modes, contests, DXing, rag chews, nets etc.

I have a small but nicely equipped radio station and enjoy using it when time permits.
