We sailed our 41ft. ketch for 11 years and over 30,000 miles, then my wife Lynn and I settled on the South end of the BIG ISLAND, where we now host the LEILANI BED AND BREAKFAST.

The 2,000 ft. elevation is the PERFECT climate, all year long!

Equipment includes a Steppir 4 el. Yagi w/40-30 & 6M on an Aluminum tower. There's also a Steppir Vertical MK111 covering 3.5MHz - 54.0MHz . Rig is an ICOM 756 PRO111, AL-82 Ameritron LEGAL LIMIT amp. Also an Icom 746pro, Ameritron ALS600 solid state amp. For Mobile a Yaesu 857D with an ALS500 Ameritron solid state amp.

I am an extra class Volunteer Examiner. My activities include DXing, Maritime Mobil nets on14.300mhz, Sport Fishing, 4 wheeling in ARB locked CJ5, Diving, Sailing, and really enjoying life on Hawaii!
