I moved to Florida in March 2006. Since that time I have been active in the Okaloosa County Ham community. I am a member of the North Okaloosa Amateur Radio Club (NOARC) and the Playground Amateur Radio Club (PARC). Please visit our websites (see links below). My primary role in the area has been instructing new amateurs. Between May 2007 when we had our first class and August 2008 we have licensed 60 new amateurs! Additionally, I was selected to attend the first Volunteer Instructor Course sponsored by a grant from ARRL (see the Jan 2009 QST). Operating activities include dabbling in just about everything but CW, but that may happen soon. Contesting, Satellites, Digital, DX and SSTV are all places you might find me operating.

Previous QTHs include Abilene TX 1989-1994 (as KB5KSC, N5PZK and KI5FR), Spokane WA 1994-2000, Hampton, VA 2000-2003, Dayton, OH 2003-2006.
