I am currently employed by the McDuffie County Board of Education as a Mathematics Teacher at Thomson High School.  The 2011-2012 school term will be my 24th year as a math teacher. My wife is a registered nurse. We have two sons: Clinton and Brandon. They are both Technician Class Ham Operators. Clinton (KK4CCT) is 15 years old and is a "gadget lover" who is a natural at programming electronic devices.  Thankfully, I do not have to buy programming software for radios anymore!  Brandon (KJ4WHF) is 13 years old and is my rabbit hunting partner and currently the youngest amateur operator that we are aware of in McDuffie County.

Although I have been interested in ham radio ever since I was a teenager, I have only been a licensed operator since December of 2008.  My other interests include hunting and fishing and my main hobby is beagling/rabbit hunting. I have been an active member of CSRA Beagle Club in Winfield, Ga. for several years.
