Greetings:

My name is William "Will" Antonelli. My inspiration in radio repairs and electronics go back around 1974 when I saw an AD from Louis M. Franklin, K6NH and Gordon West, WB6NOA.

In 1974 I became a Ham Radio Operator. My mother was a Ham Operator back in 1951.

I knew then CB repairs was meant to be my passion. In 1977 at age 14, I was a radio technician working on my own after school and weekends to support myself and help my dad and the rest of my family. I did very good and kept me off the streets. I was the envy of all my schoolmates and every student work hard in the summer to make enough money to buy a CB radio and antenna.

Today I have done mostly everything from repeaters to WiFi. Please pass this to your kids and grandkids and encourage them to Ham Radio. It is a great hobby and a great learning tool.

My shack consist of an ICOM 706 MKIIG.

Because of the inspiration from K6NH and WB6NOA as well as my mother R.I.P. (3/21/2008) I hold the two U.S. FCC highest licenses: The FCC Amateur Extra class and the General Radio Telephone License with Ship radar endorsement. I am a life member of the ARRL, a ARRL Amateur volunteer examiner and Life member of the North American QRP CW Club Member: 5205. I believe strongly in promoting the hobby. Please support your local club(s).

In addition to Ham Radio I am an FCC certified Commercial License Examiner manager.

We offer examination for:

  • Marine Radio Operator License (FCC Element 1)
  • General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) (FCC Elements 1 and 3)
  • Ship Radar Endorsement (FCC Element 8)
  • Global Maritime Distress Safety System Radio Maintainer's License(GMDSS) (FCC Element 9)
  • Global Maritime Distress Safety System Radio Operator License(GMDSS) (FCC Element 7)

For more information call 813-419-7050

Remember: "It is not the class of license the Amateur holds, but the class of the Amateur that holds the license."

My FCC licenses are:

KP4X - Amateur Extra Class with 20 WPM

PG00015149 - First Class Radiotelephone license with Ship Radar endorsement (now known as GROL)

MP00009249 - Marine Radio Operator Permit

And the mother of all FCC's licenses only less than 1,100 operators currently in U.S. hold this one:

DM00000374 - GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress Safety System) GMDSS Radio Maintainer's License with Ship Radar Endorsement.

I knew there is a good reason I choose Electronics and even have a degree to prove it. For years I have been researching how I can interact with stupid people without the help of a Doctor. Finally, after so much research I have concluded that: "Light travels faster than the speed of sound, this is why some people tend to appear bright,. until they decide to speak."
