Hi there, thanks for looking me up.
Go and have a look at my website, it does need some updating but most of it is
still relevant (Nov. 07). I am the Repeater Keeper for GB7DX, D Star repeater
located in Ashford, Kent, at my home. I use an Icom IC-E2820 radio. I have one
at home and also a second one in the car for mobile work. I also have an Icom
IC 92 D Star HT and the HM175 GPS Microphone to run DPRS. All good fun! In
addition to GB7DX, I have three D Star repeaters locally I can get access to,
GB7FK, GB7IC and GB7SS.
I also run an APRS Digi and Igate, MB7UDX, which serves the local area. You can
look out for either MB7UDX or when I'm mobile, M0TMX-7 on UI View, or via the
internet on http://aprs.fi/m0tmx-7
Usually active on both 20m and 40m most weekends, I'm always happy to spend
time chatting, but if you only want to exchange signal reports, thats fine too.
If you don't have time to browse the website, working conditions as follows,
-Yaesu FT857
-Icom IC E-2820 home based
-Hustler 6 BTV Multiband Vertical Antenna for HF
-Diamond Triband 6m/2m/70cm
-Maximum of 100w (no amplifiers here)
-Mobile - Kenwood TM D710 Dual Band, look out for M0TMX-7 on UI View
-Mobile - Icom IC-E2820 D Star, local repeaters are GB7FK and GB7IC
I also hold the callsign EI6GAB which I use on my frequent visits to Ireland.
Thanks for the contact, and hope we speak again sometime.
73,
Declan.
