My main interests are contesting and DXing using CW or RTTY. I live in an antenna restricted area and limited to a vertical. Running a Ten Tec Orion II at 100w and a Butternut vertical hinders my operating but I am surprisingly successful at my DX count and contest scores.

QTH#2 Is Estes Park, Co. in the Big Thompson Canyon at the foot of the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of 7,100'. To the West it's all up hill from our mountain cabin.

I am the trustee for the Iowa DX and Contest Club call sign WI0WA. This club was founded by Larry, W0ETC (SK).

I contest with a group of guys at Toni’s, N0NI, (Toni on the left Bill on the right) station near Perry, Ia. The antenna farm at the contest station is spectacular sometimes evolving weekly.
