    Hi,

I first got my callsign in Biddeford, Maine in 1996 and only did 2/m there. I met a lot of nice people and then let my callsign lapse,,dumb huh, lol.  Well, i moved here to Florida and decieded to get it back, so i took my tech/general the same day and passed so i,m back in the saddle again. Also got my original callsign (above) back. I have a yaesu 2/m-440 rig with a diamond x30a antenna 4.5 ft in length and about 20 ft high. Seems to work ok Also now have a Yaesu FT-840 HF rig i picked up a few weeks ago and a MFJ-969 Tuner for it. My power supply is a SEC 1223 MY antenna is a homemade ocf windom  made for me by my two friends,,,,,, donnie - kc4iul and jerry - n4xoi ,,,,,, They did a great job on it and at this time it is only up about 20ft or so. I plan to go up higher with it tho. I have made THREE overseas contacks with just my 100 watt barefoot FT 840. These were all done same day,,Dec 27th 09Two in Italy and One in slovenia. I,m sure more will come. That is one of the things i love about Ham Radio. The other is meeting new freinds and rag chewing. I can be found on 2/m at 145.150  or 146.580  simplex  and on HF on 3.860.00 at 2:00pm most days. Also on 28.390 Monday nites at 1900 hrs. Also scan the other freq. Hope to talk to you all on the radio. I monitor 40m most of the time now and hope to talk to you there. I also have a lot more oversea,s contacks now.I did get a new MD100 x8a mike for my HF rig so i sound better now. I have WAS since Dec.09 and have a lot more Countrys in my log.

Latest update is a FT 2900 yeasu mobile that i now use on base that will do 75 watts if needed. My 2m/440 radio  ( 50 watts ) is now in my van that i use for mobile. My socars # is 7994,,Ole miss # is 6831 and my WWD # is 1428 Hope to hear you on the freqencies.
