Live station cameras on the website. www.n3qo.com Greetings all, I started out as Technician Class obtaining my license in December 1999 before the world was due to blow up. Good thing it didn't. Operated mainly packet back then. I was dormant in the ham community until December 2008, when I suddenly found myself laid-off with alot of time on my hands. Since then I obtained my General and a month or so later my Amateur Extra. My YL, Laurie (KB3SIK) who was a key part of re-igniting my interest in Amateur radio obtained her Technician and instantly upgraded to General early in 2009. We recently moved to Pottstown in Montgomery county PA and still actively participate in weekly ARES and Dstar nets back up in Northampton county, where I've lived for 10 years. Every Wednesday evening a group of operators from the Delaware-Lehigh Amateur Radio club get together at our club station to BS about the stations we've worked during the week and/or coordinating our efforts in upcoming contests. Currently our shack consists of:
Icom IC-746 Rigblaster PRO ICOM IC-2200h Heathkit SB301/401 with digital capabilities Homebrew 20-15-10m hex beam (broadband) Hustler 6-BTV vertical 40 and 80m 1/2 wave Inverted Vees ..and when I'm mobile: Kenwood TM-D700A
