Hello my name is Robert Allen.  I got in the hobby about a year ago. My grandfather was a ham for as long as I can remember. Two years ago his health got bad and he became a silent key. When this happened I set out on a goal of going up the ladder to general then extra.  After getting my extra I applied for his old call sign and was granted it.  I done this as sort of a tribute to him and for a way to continue his legacy.  Along the way I have really gotten in too the hobby, and enjoy many areas of  it.  Hope to talk with you someday  73's to all.
