This repeater serves as a West Tennessee / Eastern Arkansas / North Mississippi hub station for the Emergency Alert System (formerly EBS), and transmits EAS alerts from NWS Memphis, Memphis / Shelby County EMA, TEMA, and FEMA / US Govt.

ECAMS maintains backup EMA communications and operates Memphis EMWIN data broadcast transmitters. More info at the ECAMS home page.
