I've had a lot of great hobbies in my life, and none have given me the pleasure of Ham Radio. I got my ticket in 1996 at the age of 43, and I've done my best to make up for lost time. CW ragchewing is my favorite, but I enjoy casual contesting, also on CW. I get on SSB occasionally, but usually end up wanting to flip the switch back to CW.
Right now I'm using a Ten Tec Orion, an Icom IC-7600 and an Omni VI+. Tuner is an Ameritron ATR-30, and amps are Tokyo Hi-Power HL-1.5 HFX and an Ameritron AL-80A. The antennas are a Mosely Classic at 45 feet, and 80 and 40 meter Vees. You can usually find me at .025 and below on the CW sub-bands, and I'd love to work you! My Rig is a Ten Tec 580 Delta with a Antron 99 for 10 and 15 meters and two inverted V's that work on 20, 40 and 80 meters
