I moved from Seattle to Tucson 30+ years ago in 1978 because of my interest in astronomy. That interest led me to become the business manager for the MMT Observatory. I now live in Williamstown, MA, and am planning to soon move to the Saratoga Springs, NY area. "The rig here" is an IC-735 and MFJ Hi-Q Loop antenna, which i typically mount vertically 5 feet above the ground. The thing actually works well!
