My name is Douglas Mahr. I am 45 years old and was born and raised in Northeastern Ohio. My occupation is a master carpenter for a local display company in Cleveland, Ohio for 21 years. I have been married for 18 years and have two beautiful children ages12 and 15 years of age. I have several hobbies which include hunting, antique car collecting, nascar racing, pond aquatics,and of course the love of my life amateur radio. My interest in the hobby began at a young age as a tinkered with citizen band radio as a yound child. As my knowledge and finances grew I discovered the joy of amateur radio. The most incredible aspect of the hobby is the comradare between fellow "hams." My favorite band in amateur radio is satellites. I throughly enjoy the challenge to make unique contacts within time constraints!!!
