ABOUT ME

Hi Guys, My name is Renner Pedroza (PY7RP), I am 24 years old, live in Recife(PE) but my main station is based at Timbauba(PE) about 100km away from Recife.

I got my ham call license in April/2003. At the moment i am very active on SSB/CW/PSK/RTTY/SSTV on 10,12,15,17,20,30,40,80 meters band. Until now i have already contacted about 298 DXCCs on mixed mode (CW/SSB). On digital modes i reached 164 DXCCs. I collect also IOTAs, WPXs and DXCCs entities by bands & modes and now begining to collect USA Counties.

I recently finished the civil engineering graduation course and now i am on a Msc post graduation on transportation & infra-structures management.

I collect Postal Stamps & Paper Money. If you have any kind of collection and need anything from Brazil, just let me know and i probably gonna help you on your collection too!.

 ABOUT MY CITY

As i said, i live at Recife, but my station location is at Timbauba. (GRID HI22IL). Timbauba is a small city countryside of the state of Pernambuco, in North East of Brazil. There are aprox 60 thousand inha. living in Timbauba. At the present time there are 4 active Hams in Timbauba.

Antennas: On the same tower (12m high) : 3 elem tribander on 10-15-20 & 3 elem tribander on 12-17-30, wire dipole on 40m.

PC: Notebook HP DV4000

Softwares: DX4Win, Digital: MixW, SSTV: MMSSTV, Contests: N1MM
