QSL INFORMATION

I PREFER TO QSL DIRECT or via LoTW

To receive QSL in return, please enclose robust SAE and 2 “green stamps”. All mail out of Europe goes via Prioritaire/Air Mail to make delivery faster. I’m also 100% via the bureau, too (however it takes a long long time to exchange cards this way – that’s why I prefer to QSL directly…). I DO NOT USE eQSL.

INFO REGARDING ZS3Y/ZS3V

I'm responsible for confirming contacts with ZS3Y Volker and ZS3V Bridgette since February 2009 - both via direct only. Please enclose robust SAE and 2 “green stamps”. All mail out of Europe goes via Prioritaire/Air Mail to make delivery faster.

INFO REGARDING ZD9BCB

I'm responsible for confirming contacts (only via direct) with Brian ZD9BCB in Gough island AF-030 in period between January-September 2007. Please refer to all details at his entry at http://www.qrz.com/zd9bcb .

Recently involved in international movie productions taking a place in Poland (i.e. The Chronicles of Narnia) responsible for location scouting, logistics, PR, and documentations reg. footage areas. Creator and administrator of one of the most popular tourist websites in Poland dedicated to Bieszczady – the Northern Carpathians http://www.bieszczady.pl/. Huge enthusiast of  mountain hiking, travelling and all activities related to spending as much time close to the nature as possible. Interested in astronomy, new media and technologies, geography. Have been able to help to establish an astronomical observatory for students at the secondary school in hometown Lesko – the only observatory in the South-Eastern Poland.

The biggest hobby: HAM RADIO – the most interdisciplinary hobby in the world I guess. First license in 1993, upgraded in 1998 to full HF. Working always barefoot taught me to work in pileups efficiently respecting “the code of ham spirit”.  Currently 291 dxcc worked, 281 confirmed – 99% of them while working with a simple multiband vertical at home QTH in Lesko. Time to time operating as /p from the mountain glider airport in Bezmiechowa, 8km north of Lesko.

RIG & OPERATING:

After several years of break I've decided to operate cw again. Since then I’m a big enthusiast of that mode, even though my cw is a bit rusty (yet :)
Also active on SSB, RTTY, PSK etc.

SQ8X QSL DESIGN

Time to time I design QSL cards. Some samples are available at: http://sq8x.net/ - all of them have been designed for free as my personal, voluntary input into the amateur radio hobby. So far, my voluntary work contributed such dx stations as VP6TD, ZD9BCB, Polish DXpedition to ZL7 (by SP5EAQ, SP9PT and SP9BQJ), CE0Y/JJ2NYT, ZS8T,VK9DWX, ZS3Y/ZS3V and the newest ones - K5D & VK9LA (currently in production).
If you organize an expedition to a rare DXCC entity or rare IOTA, feel free to contact me regarding a free QSL design.
